Music Teacher
A Music Specialist is based at our school
to take each class for a 30 minute specialist
lesson per week. The school has a senior and
junior choir, vocal ensemble group and a school
band conducted by the Music Specialist.

Instrumental Music Teachers
In addition to music an Instrumental Music
Program is offered for selected children from
Years 3 to 7. There are two specialist teachers
who run a Strings Program and a Multi Program.

LOTE (Languages Other Than English)
There is a part time LOTE Teacher
who offers Japanese to students in Year 5,
6 and 7.

Health and Physical Education Teacher
There is a full time Physical Education
Teacher who coordinates and implements the
Physical Education Program throughout the
school. Each class has one 30 minute specialist
lesson per week where children participate
in various activities.

Information Communication Technology
(ICT) Teacher
An ICT Teacher has been appointed three days
a week to provide specialist support to staff
and students. We have a dedicated computer
lab with several machines and a second lab
located in the Resource Centre. All students
access this centre and then return to their
classrooms to continue and complete their
work from networked machines in their classrooms.

Teacher-Librarian
The Teacher-Librarian administers the running
of the library, supports the classroom teachers
with their programs. Teaches the children
about fundamentals

Aides |
Teacher aides provide an important role in
supporting classroom teachers in all aspects
of classroom teaching.

| 5. Maintenance |
Cleaners
The cleaners play an important role in keeping
the classroom area clean and tidy.
Groundskeeper
The groundskeeper maintains a safe environment
in the school grounds for the children.

The administration team oversees payment,
absences and first aid.
|
| 7. Volunteers |
The school encourages parents to be involved
in their child’s learning by means of
volunteering to assist in classroom activities.
